Funding Sources for River Region Human Services

community funding for River Region Human ServicesFor more than 40 years, River Region has provided treatment for substance abuse, mental health, and HIV/AIDS prevention in our community, as well as housing, counseling and other services for people in need. Our programs meet the needs of all ages, from infants to the elderly. Many of River Region’s programs are nationally recognized and used as the standard for other agencies that want to implement similar programs in their area.

Funding is provided by grants and contracts from federal, state and local government agencies. We also receive some reimbursement from Medicare and Medicaid, however these funding sources are steadily decreasing while demand for services is growing. Therefore, we must rely on our community to support these critically-needed services. We are asking for your support of the important services that River Region provides to the Jacksonville community.
