River Region's Addiction Treatment Services Unit offers a continuum of care for addressing substance abuse and addiction.

The first step to being admitted to any treatment services component is an initial assessment. This assessment uses American Society of Addiction Medicine criteria to determine what level of care would most benefit the client. 

After being placed in the appropriate level of care, the client along with the counselor will design an initial Treatment Plan. And assigned to a Primary counselor for an Individualized Treatment Plan.

ADMISSION CRITERIA

Abusing or Dependent on Drugs and/or Alcohol

*18 years old and older*

Not Actively Psychotic

Not experiencing a Medical Emergency

Not Actively Violent

Residential, levels I, II, IV

Day / Night

Outpatient

Methadone Treatment/ has six phases I-VI

All services are provided in English and Spanish. We have bilingual counselors to address monolingual Spanish clients' treatment needs.
