Treatment Program for DUI

Matrix-Web-2The Next Step DUI program provides short-term outpatient drug and alcohol treatment to persons charged with DUI (Driving Under the Influence). It includes substance abuse education that focuses on the physical, mental, emotional and financial impact that DUI has on an individual and a family. Length of treatment is determined through an assessment and history of DUI. The program partners with the Northeast Florida Safety Council (NEFSC), which refers clients to the program. The Next Step program notifies the NEFSC of client admissions, treatment progress and completion of the program. Successful treatment is required for participants to get or keep their drivers’ licenses.
