Monitor Technician- Residential (PT, FT, PRN)
The Monitor Technician is responsible for logging daily client activities and monitoring their behavior. A high school diploma or GED is required with two years of relevant experience. Must be available to work weekend and night shifts. A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Must be able to provide own transportation. Computer competency required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Food Service Assistant (FT)
The Food Service Assistant prepares and supervises meal preparation at our residential treatment facility. A high school diploma or GED is required with at least 5 years of experience as a food handler or cook. Must be able to receive a Food Handlers Certificate from the Department of Health. Must be able to work weekends. Must be able to do simple mathematics in regards to preparing recipes. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Assessment Specialist (FT)
The Assessment Specialist conducts clinical screenings and determines levels of treatment and assessment needs. They schedule prospective clients with proper counselors/units and document any special needs the client may have. A Master’s degree in a behavioral science is preferred with at least two years of related experience in assessment, addiction, and treatment. Computer competency required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Case Manager- Aftercare (FT)
The Aftercare Case Manager assists program participants in post-discharge planning to minimally address housing, clothing, personal care, medical, psychiatric, and job placement needs as well as documents each case properly. A Bachelor’s degree in a human services or behavioral health field is required along with 2 years of relevant experience. A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Must be able to provide own transportation. Computer competency required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Counselor- Next Step (PRN)
The Next Step Counselor facilitates substance abuse groups, conducts individual counseling sessions with clients, and completes appropriate documentation. A Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science field with two years or more related experience, and/or addiction certification is required, but a Master’s degree is preferred. A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Must be able to provide own transportation. Computer competency required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Case Manager Assistant- Aftercare (FT)
The Corrections Case Manager Assistant monitors, supervises, and reports client behavior. A high school diploma or GED is required. A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Must be able to provide own transportation. Computer competency required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Team Leader- Outpatient/Methadone Services (FT)
The Team Leader- Outpatient/Methadone Services provides individual counseling to an assigned caseload and ensures individualized treatment is designed for each client. A Master’s degree and at least two years of relevant experience are required. CAP preferred. A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Must be able to provide own transportation. Computer competency required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Counselor- Corrections (FT)
The Corrections Counselor maintains a caseload of clients and provides individual, and group counseling, crisis counseling and other services as needed. A Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health or human service with at least two years of relevant experience is required. CAP, CAAP, or CCJAP preferred. A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Must be able to provide own transportation. Computer competency required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Linkage Tracking Specialist- Outreach (FT)
The Linkage Tracking Specialist develops working relationships with established community partners and maintains a working relationship with case managers and representatives of network agencies. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling Case Management, Psychology or related field. Must have knowledge and understanding of HIV/AIDS. Must be certified for provider status from the State of Florida, Medicaid Waiver program. A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Must be able to provide own transportation. Computer competency required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Counselor- Kid Power (FT)
The Kid Power Counselor maintains program caseload and provides individual and group counseling sessions for Kid Power students. A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health or human service with at least two years of relevant experience is required. A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Must be able to provide own transportation. Computer competency required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Counselor- Methadone (FT)
The Methadone Counselor provides individual counseling to an assigned caseload and ensures individualized treatment is designed for each client. A Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health or human service with at least two years of relevant experience is required. Acceptable professional certification as an addictions professional preferred. A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Must be able to provide own transportation. Computer competency required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Prevention Specialist (FT)
The Prevention Specialist is responsible for daily operations of the program and for planning and implementing community-wide events, coordinating workshops and providing presentations for community agencies, and professionals. A Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of relevant experience is required. A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Must be able to provide own transportation. Computer competency required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Staff Aide- ALF (PRN)
The Staff Aide documents actions and incidents, provides crisis intervention and monitors clients’ behavior. A high school diploma or GED with at least two years of relevant experience is required. A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Must be able to provide own transportation. Computer competency required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Evaluation Assistant (FT)
The Evaluation Assistant assists in conducting program evaluation, reviews selected agency reports and incoming data, and inputs data accurately. A high school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of relevant experience required. Computer competency required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Outreach Worker (FT)
The Outreach Worker provides education sessions on HIV/AIDS, programs associated with substance abuse, and available resources through one on one contacts. They also conduct pre/post test counseling and referrals for voluntary testing for all at risk persons. A Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health or human service with at least two years of relevant experience is required. A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Must be able to provide own transportation. Computer competency required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Court Liaison (FT)
The Court Liaison maintains frequent and regular contact with Judges, State Attorney’s Office, Public Defender’s Office, Drug Court, BTC, etc. to represent the interest and activities of the agency. They also participate in all court and other meetings as required. A Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of relevant experience is required. A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Must be able to provide own transportation. Computer competency required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
