Youth Substance Abuse Programs

Outpatient and Intervention

River Region’s Youth programs include alcohol and drug abuse treatment for teens between the ages of 12 and 17 and to their parents or caregivers. The program is based upon the 12 Step Recovery Model and family systems approach. We provide treatment services at several private, alternative and charter schools in Jacksonville.  We provide services to teens in the community as well as those referred by probation or community agencies. River Region works closely with Duval County Schools to provide intervention and treatment services.

In Home Substance Abuse Program for Teens

The Adolescent In-Home Substance Abuse Program was developed to meet the needs of the teens involved in the Foster Care System and the Department of Juvenile Justice.  The program provides alcohol and other drug treatment for youth between the ages of 12 and 17. It is based upon the 12 Step Recovery model and family systems approach.  In-home services are provided in the foster home, group home, schools or alternative schools, enabling River Region to meet the needs of the teens wherever they are in the community.
