Residential Admission Requirements

  1. Valid ID (Florida driver's license, Florida ID card, passport or TWIC Card).

  2. A 30-day supply of medications with labels attached or a recent prescription that can be filled.  

  3. Negative COVID-19 results within three days prior to intake

  4. TB test or chest X-ray

  5. Clients who receive MAT services from another provider must have paperwork and medications transferred to River Region

  6. Ability to climb narrow stairs without an assistive walking device and climb into a bunk bed

  7. Participate in all required activities

What to Bring

  • 10-day supply of seasonal appropriate clothing

  • Pajamas/sleep attire

  • No more than 5 pairs of shoes

  • Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, alcohol-free mouthwash, deodorant, washcloths, towels, shower shoes

  • Bedding (twin-sized sheets, blanket, pillow)

  • Spiritual/recovery based literature

  • Cigarettes

  • Supplies (pencils, paper, notebook, envelope, stamps)

  • Up to $40 cash

What NOT to Bring

  • Car or vehicle

  • Food or beverages

  • Clothing that is revealing with holes, depicting violence/sexual content or substance use

  • Weapons, sharp objects or straight razors

  • Electronic devices (computers, tablets, video games, cameras, cell phones)

  • Over-the-counter medications (any medication will be stored in the medication room)

  • Cigars, vape pens, black and milds, chewing tobacco

  • Benzodiazepines, barbiturates or alcohol
