October 23 - 31: Red Ribbon Week. River Region will be setting up an information booth at our State St. offices for the week.

November 9th: Free HIV Testing at Renewed Life Ministries, 3848 St. Augustine Rd., 398-8410.

Recent River Region Appearances in the Media

River Region's SAT Program featured on Signal 94, a show produced by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. 

Street Dance at State St., September 2002: Jackie Nash, the host of Health Trends, interviewed Minerva Bryant for a show that aired on BET, Cable Channel 18. Also, C.C. Ryder interviewed Ms. Bryant on WQIK FM 99's weekly public affairs program. And Joyce Morgan of Channel 4 interviewed Gloria Hanania during Channel 4's midday news broadcast. These appearances all came during the week leading up to the event.
