Exciting Employment Opportunities with River Region Human Services EOE/DFWP

 

 

Peer Specialist-Mental Health (FT) 2748

The Peer Specialist assists consumers in articulating personal goals for recovery, develops individual recovery plans, assists non-consumer staff in identifying program environments that are conductive to recovery, and develops and shares recovery-oriented material with other Peer Specialists. Maintains accurate documentation.  A high school diploma or GED with at least two years of relevant experience is required. Must be certified in Peer Specialist Training. Experience in a social service environment is preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, have a valid Florida driver’s license, a good driving record, and be able to provide own transportation. Computer competency required.

Outreach Worker (FT) 4476

The Outreach Worker provides education sessions on HIV/AIDS; and programs associated with substance abuse, and available resources through one on one contacts. They also conduct pre/post test counseling and referrals for voluntary testing for all at risk persons.  A Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health or human service with at least two years of relevant experience is required.  A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Must be able to provide own transportation. Computer competency required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Case Manager- Mental Health (FT) 4533

The Mental Health Case Manager conducts client screenings including psychosocial evaluations, extensive needs assessments, and completes a client plan of care. A Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of relevant experience is required. A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Must be able to provide own transportation. Computer competency required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Maintenance Assistant-Support Services (PT) 4537

The Maintenance Assistant assists with maintaining structures owned, rented or leased by the agency, constructs and remodels items according to local building codes and supervisory directions, conducts quarterly inspections, performs preventive maintenance, and maintains and stores equipment, tools, and supplies.  Must have at least 6 years of maintenance experience and be able to provide own transportation. A high school diploma or GED, computer competency, a valid Florida Class D driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Experience in a social service environment is preferred.

LPN (FT) 4616

The LPN dispenses medication, and keeps accurate records of dosages administered and clients seen as scheduled. They also communicate client information to doctors, counselors, and administration as needed. Must be a valid Florida State Practical Nurse with at least two years of relevant experience. Computer competency required. A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required.  Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Court Liaison - TASC (FT) 4617

The Court Liaison maintains frequent and regular contact with Judges, State Attorney’s Office, Public Defender’s Office, Drug Court, BTC, etc. to represent the interest and activities of TASC unit and River Region Human Services. They also participate in all court and other meetings as required. A Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of relevant experience is required. A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Must be able to provide own transportation. Computer competency required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Counselor- Children’s Services (FT) 4619

The Children’s Treatment Counselor assesses client needs and conducts group therapy sessions with their assigned unit, monitor client behavior, facilitate referrals to community resources, and document all cases properly. A Bachelor’s degree in the behavioral health field with two years substance abuse treatment experience is preferred. Must be knowledgeable of 65D-30 standards with the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Computer competency required.  A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required.

Monitor Technician-Residential (FT) 4642 & 4643

The Monitor Technician is responsible for logging daily client activities and monitoring their behavior. A high school diploma or GED is required with two years of relevant experience. Must be available to work weekend and night shifts. A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required.  Must be able to provide own transportation. Computer competency required. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Director of Nursing (FT) 4644

Must have a valid Florida Registered Nursing license with 4 years of experience, and one year supervisory experience with strong leadership skills. Must have experience working in a mental health/substance abuse facility. Experience in medication assistance treatment and primary care preferred. A valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required.
